The Artist Journal

One of the many things I would like to accomplish throughout the year is the constant use of keeping an art journal. I am hoping the practice of gluing, drawing, painting and writing will bring me to a new level in the artist quest I appear to be on.

I have made my own journal, a first attempt at book binding, which I enjoyed ever so
much. It is packed with water color paper, fresh white sheets to begin.

There is a freedom to this journal, it can contain personal thoughts, record days, a relief from stress and to inspire.

“Whether you’re keeping a journal or writing as a mediation, it’s the same thing. What is important is you’re having a relationship with your mind.” ~Natalie Goldberg
